Life in the suburbs of low-country Savannah isn’t always as Georgia-peachy as everyone thinks. At least not for three neighbors-turned-best-friends. What used to be the perfect girls’ gazebo nights filled with gossip, laughter, and wine while watching the sun set behind the river, recently turned into tears, therapy, and emotional support—of course, there’s still wine—as each woman faces a life-altering event.
Career-driven Charlotte doesn’t believe in limits—not in life, not in love. Lines were made to be crossed. She’s climbed the corporate ladder with gusto and takes no prisoners when it comes to relationships. But when she realizes she’s fallen in love with her best-friend-since-high-school––who happens to be a famous football player––suddenly the lines are blurred. Will the ultimate touchdown cost her a lifelong friendship?
Sadie, the soft-spoken stay-at-home mom, lost her husband to cancer. If not for her friends and family, she would have fallen apart the day he died. Now, after endless months of grieving, a chance at a new relationship catches her off-guard. She thought she buried her heart; can she allow herself to chance romance again?
No-nonsense Bianca lives by rules and schedules. As an oral surgeon, patients keep her busy at the office, and she devotes herself to being the perfect Italian wife at home. But when her husband blindsides her by secretly moving out while she’s at work and then files for divorce, she must relearn the guidelines of single life. However, she never imagined that would include being romanced by a blue-collar hottie nearly a decade younger than her. She could never… could she?
Together, all three women must decide whether to tip-toe across the complicated lines of love, or take the leap and jump two feet in.

Growing up in rural southern Kentucky, I developed a deep love and appreciation for front porch conversations. Spending time with family and friends over a glass (or two) of wine and belly-hurting laughter is my spice of life. It is from these bonds and personal life experiences that I get my writing inspiration. Those that know me best would describe me as funny, genuine, and always up for an adventure! Those words could also be used to describe my style of writing. I love a good book full of passion, wit, and a dash of the unexpected. But, of course, always ending with the happy ever after.
I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology with a Minor in Women's Studies from Transylvania University, graduating cum laude. In 2005, I graduated magna cum laude from the University of Louisville with a Doctorate in Dental Medicine. However, I am most proud of my toughest job, being a mommy to three hilarious and intensely loving kiddos. Yoga, running, and meditation are my keys to sanity, while napping is my favorite hobby. I believe in indoor hammocks, firm handshakes, and letting my children make their own mistakes. I also believe that words have the power to heal, and I am thankful to be able to share mine with you.
